Pouring Concrete

The construction month of October began in a supermarket parking lot at 10pm. I got out of my car and hopped into the passenger side of a mysterious looking white truck. The front cab of the truck was perfectly dissheveled… everything meticulously placed out of order. It was a world unto itself.
[enter Jerry: Stage Left]
Jerry was the concrete man. He insisted that we sign a contract prior to he and his crew getting started in the morning. Not an uncommon procedure, but definetely a noteworthy experience.

Over the next couple of days, Jerry and his crew arrived at the crack of dawn to set up their form work and await the concrete truck.

Pouring the slab for the entryway and the sloping slab for the courtyard.
